Introduction to PostgreSQL. PostgreSQL download and server installation
On postgresql.org you can find links to download different distributions for different operating systems. In particular, to download the Windows distribution you should go to enterprisedb.com and specify all necessary options for downloading: postgres version and operating system.

Server PostgreSQL installation
On the next screen, you will need to specify the folder to install. Leave the default folder and move on to the next step:

During installation, we will remember the password, as it will be required to connect to the server. Then you will need to set the port on which the server will start. You can leave the default port as it is:
Then you can install the server locale. Let’s leave the default installation:
After that, we will see a summary of all the settings:
And if we’re okay with it, we can click Next and the installation will start…
And after the installation is complete, we will see the next window and click on Finish to exit:
